In this committee you will debate Topics concerning the security and safety of everyone. As President, I guarantee you an exceptional model, where you will not only learn and debate about topics with international relevance, but will also have an experience that will change your way of thinking and seeing the world. In order to succeed such commitment, the chair expects from you to be completely formal and defend your delegation's position. CENMUN is a wonderful experience; the chair will do their best to help you enjoy it at is fullest, but if you really want to take advantage of it, you'll need to do your best and give the best of yourself.

Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice 

CCPCJ

The Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ) was created in 1992 by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) on demand of the General Assembly (GA). The commission belongs as the main policymaker and helper of the ECOSOC on the issues on crime prevention and criminal justice.

 

According to Resolution 1992/22 by the ECOSOC, the Commission's main priorities are to improve international actions taken by the States to combat national and transnational crime. In addition, the CCPCJ provides Member States a forum to exchange expertise and experiences.
